The Power of Religion

The power of Islam lies indoing Namaz prayers for five times. The power of Hindu's lies inchanting God's name.I am thrilled to see small children with Khuran in their hands&going to the Mosque in the early morning. But in some of the communities some parents usually discourage the children if they start readin g religious books. "Read the text book.Gita chanting won't fetch your bread.It is not helpful to get good marks in the examination. They are the books to read only after sixty yrs of age".This is the usual comment what we hear.Sometimes there are religious functions .There you find chanting in one side and chatting in another side !Actually ,this should not happen.During prayer there should be silence . ;both inner and outer silence.Then only our prayer orchanting will be beneficial. That leads to peace. Prayer is nothing but dissolving our minds and ego. If we dissolve our mind then only it can solve our problems. That is through prayer;only through prayer. Mind itself is a problem.Do you know?Mind is our enemy if we do not know how to tackle it.,how to control it.To control the mind pray always.There is no restriction of time. Is there any specific time to call the mother for the child?No.But our ego itself destroys our childlike state.We should not develop the religious ego.,"I am more religious ,I am the only person doing prayer always"etc.It will reduce the benefits of prayer.The real prayer incultates the tolerance in us. Where there is no tolerance ,there is no prayer,no religion. Only purity of mind ,peace of mind will save us from destruction and violence.. No religious costumes will help us. It doesn't lie in external appearence.Religion lies in our mind and heart. If we start following the true religion then we are able to listen the real music comes from our heart.
